Do you need internship experience?
The HCSEG now offers internship opportunities as research assistants to enrolled college students. This program is an opportunity for those, possibly outside of our watershed, to participate in some of the research projects going on at the HCSEG.
Interns usually collaborate with their HCSEG supervisor and a faculty sponsor at their college or university to develop a learning contract and to guide their experience.
These are currently non-paid internships, but a small stipend is available.
Internship opportunities vary upon the season, and are available for most of our research projects.
Eligibility:
• Must be a student enrolled in a college or university with an intended major in environmental science, fisheries, biology, ecology, or a related field
