Education about Wild Salmon and Wild Salmon ecosystems is one of HCSEG's highest priorities. Our goal is to attain broad understanding and instill good stewardship paradigms. This is facilitated through an awareness of the interconnectedness of the Hood Canal Watershed’s biotic and abiotic components, and the health of the water and systems Wild Salmon depend on. We achieve this through a comprehensive K-12 education curriculum, public presentations, outreach opportunities at events and festivals, through our volunteer programs, and relations with federal, state, regional, community and private landowner partners. Check out the links listed below to see the educational programs offered, resources available and to find out how to schedule a presentation to your school or group. You can also contact the HCSEG and we will be happy to send you a brochure regarding in school presentations/programs offered.
